Directions To Skypark

From the Akron ,Oh. : Take US-224 West/I-76 west 10.8 miles to Exit 7  (OH-57). Turn left.  Proceed .2 miles to Greenwich Rd. ramp Turn Left. At the stop sign you will make a left turn onto Greenwich road/CR-97. Follow Greenwich Rd 2.2 miles to 3071 Greenwich Rd. Wadsworth, Ohio 44281.  The Airport is on your right.

From Cleveland ,Oh.: Take I-71 South  toward Columbus  to US-224 /I-76 East.  Proceed  2.0  miles to Exit 2 (Oh-3). Turn right. Proceed .5 miles to the traffic light. Turn left on Greenwich road. Proceed 3.4 miles to 3071 Greenwich Rd. Wadsworth Ohio 44281 The Airport is on your left.

Winter Flying Procedures

Procedures for thawing out aircraft. Temperature below freezing. Frost on plane.

Maintenance Hanger open 8:00 AM. to 7:00 PM. 6 Days

Hanger Open 8:00 AM. to 3:00 PM. Sunday .

Special request for other times call the skypark office at 330 334-9921.

Front of the Maintenance Hanger will be available to pre-heat aircraft.

Plan on being early for your lesson if aircraft needs thawing.

Tractor available for towing aircraft by instructors or maintenance  personnel.

 

Preheating Aircraft

Aircraft should be pre-heated when temperature is below freezing.

Pre-heating to be done by instructor, trained individual or maintenance  personnel.

Heaters provided. Person flying responsible for towels to wipe planes.

No beating on aircraft to loosen ice. This damages metal.

NO SUMPING aircraft below freezing!
